No Further Layoffs at Creative Memories

June 12, 2013 -- Creative Memories will not lay off 163 additional employees this month as originally announced after its parent firm filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in April. At that time, around 30 percent of the company's workforce was laid off.
This is the second time in five years that Creative Memories has filed for bankruptcy. During better days, it employed more than 1,200 people at its St. Cloud, MN headquarters.
