Velata Introduces Ceramic Knives and Accessories

MERIDIAN, Idaho, March 4, 2014 -- Velata, a brand of simple, stylish, and social kitchen products, released today its Spring/Summer 2014 Catalog featuring the newest addition to its product offering – Velata Ceramic Knives – designed to enhance the way food is cut and prepared.
"After two years of using Velata products in our own kitchen, Heidi and I realized there wasn't one occasion where we didn't need a set of ultra-sharp knives to prepare foods," said Orville Thompson, CEO of Velata's parent company, Scentsy, Inc. Customers can choose from the Ceramic Chef's Knife, or the Ceramic Knife Set which includes a Nakiri, Santoku, and Paring Knife. In addition to the ceramic knives, Velata will also offer innovative knife accessories including the universal Tile Knife Block and the Antibacterial Cutting Mat.
