CHANDLER, Ariz., April 7, 2015 -- Origami Owl, a national jewelry company known for its customizable jewelry and signature Living Lockets, today announced its expansion into Canada. Currently sponsoring designers in both the U.S. and Puerto Rico, this is the social selling company's first expansion into international territory since the company's launch only four years ago.
With the growth into Canada, Origami Owl is making good on its mission to be a global force for good; inspiring and motivating people of all ages to reach their dreams, and empowering them to make a difference in the lives of others. That includes their sixty thousand-plus Independent Designers in the US, and now approximately one thousand Designers already on board in Canada.
"We are so excited about the launch of Origami Owl into Canada. Like our Designers here in the US, our Canadian teams are sophisticated and hard working. I have no doubt with the combination of Origami Owl's mission and this new opportunity, lives will be changed for the better," said Origami Owl Founder & Co-President Chrissy Weems. "This is simply the next step in fulfilling our mission of being a global force for good."
Origami Owl created a robust sponsorship model to provide Designers with the tools they need to succeed personally, professionally and financially. Furthering their success, Canada will be positioned as an open platform, allowing Designers in the US to build relationships and teams within the Canadian Market, and vice versa. Designers sell the jewelry through networking and hosting Jewelry Bars (home parties) to showcase the collection of necklaces, bracelets and earrings. To lead this charge, Origami Owl has brought on Marcia Cota, the new Origami Owl National Sales Director for Canada. Cota is tasked with expanding Origami Owl's reach throughout Canada, while supporting and training the new Designers.
"I am so excited to be joining the Origami Owl family and assisting with the brand's growth, as it begins to plant its seeds in Canada," exclaimed Cota. "This is not only a great opportunity for Independent Designers in Canada, but also an advantage for US-based Designers as well, as it provides them both the chance to freely build their businesses in the United States and Canada respectively."
