Addison, TX June 08, 2015 -- Nerium International, a leader in anti-aging products, has announced the launch of its new charitable organization, the Nerium Ripple Foundation. The Nerium Ripple Foundation encourages Nerium Independent Brand Partners to live the company’s core value of servant leadership and the vision of “Making People Better” by making positive efforts —or positive ripples - throughout the world. The Nerium Ripple Foundation will work exclusively with nonprofit partners selected for each country where Nerium International does business, providing funding support that includes a combination of corporate gifts and donations from Independent Brand Partners and the general public.
Since 2012, Nerium’s nonprofit partner for the United States and Canada has been Big Brothers Big Sisters. Nerium has contributed more than $2 million to the organization, and hundreds of Nerium Independent Brand Partners and staff serve as mentors to participating youth. In addition to the company’s financial contributions, Nerium Brand Partners host fundraising initiatives such as “Bowl for Kids’ Sake,” “Lemonade for Littles,” and “the Ripple Wheel,” to support the youth mentorship program.
Nerium’s outstanding commitment to the partnership was recognized nationally by Big Brothers Big Sisters on June 3, 2015 at their annual national conference in Philadelphia. The organization named Nerium as their 2015 President’s Award recipient—Big Brothers Big Sisters of America’s highest corporate honor. Nerium was selected for its work in strengthening existing campaigns while spearheading new programs, expanding brand reach and elevating fundraising efforts.
“Nerium is proud to amplify its mission for making the world a better place with the Ripple Foundation by continuing our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters in the U.S. and Canada,” said Amber Olson Rourke, Chief Marketing Officer at Nerium International. “Not only does this initiative fit with our corporate values, it also allows us to leave a lasting impression on thousands of kids’ lives in our communities.”
Nerium also has announced its continued support of the organization with the launch of its 2015 “Lemonade for Littles” campaign. The summer initiative encourages Nerium Brand Partners and others to teach children the values of entrepreneurship and helping others by hosting lemonade stands in their communities through July 31. All proceeds will be directly donated to BBBS.
“Nerium International has a passion for mentoring and has become a treasured partner and very deserving of this year’s President’s Award,” said Pam Iorio, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. “Each year, their Bowl for Kids’ Sake impact grows, and their creation of new fundraising programs, like Lemonade for Littles, has exponentially raised much-needed funding and awareness for our organization.”
